Product Overview

This cable is used in Diagnostic ECG System. It comprises of D-Sub conector at one end and other end contains a ferrule plastic case and 8 poistion cable plug.Serial cable is a cable used to transfer information between two devices using a serial communication protocol. The form of connectors depends on the particular serial port used. A cable wired for connecting two DTEs directly is known as a null modem cable. The maximum working length of a cable varies depending on the characteristics of the transmitters and receivers, the baud rate on the cable, and the capacitance and electrical impedance of the cable. A D-sub contains two or more parallel rows of pins or sockets usually surrounded by a D-shaped metal shield that provides mechanical support, ensures correct orientation, and may screen against electromagnetic interference. The part containing pin contacts is called the male connector or plug. The cable assembly comes with a tie-wrap that is used to hold the cables.
