Product Overview
The Cable Assembly DS1 Sync to UNTERM - 15ft is a cable that is a specially designed part used to connect Patient Data Module (PDM) and customer devices. The cable assembly has an unterminated cable at one end and 9-pin DS1-M style connector at the other end. The wire terminations are injection molded with polypropylene and then overmolded with flexible Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) to provide for cable strain relief. The purpose of this cable is to provide an ECG & BP synchronization interface from the Patient Data Module (PDM) to third party devices using a proprietary termination as configured by customer. This cable provides two analog output signals (ECG and Arterial Pressure) from the Patient Data Module (PDM) to the corresponding Non-GE equipment. The unterminated end of the cable is configured by the customer using a plug termination that permits signal interface with a third party device. The overmold material Santoprene™ TPV 8281-65MED has excellent chemical resistance, which makes it well suited for many medical applications. The cable assembly offers outstanding flexibility for easier handling.
